Puppet Uprising joins forces with Feet Actice—Studio 34's monthly dance/yoga/vegan cupcake party—to present the Missoula Oblongata's new original touring play for two nights in West Philadelphia. Each evening's events will flow as follows:

The Play: Set in Europe just after the Treaty of Versailles, The 50 Greatest Ladies and Gentlemen sends a genetically cowardly veteran on a quest to find his brother from whom he’s received a mysterious letter. Upon reaching the town from whence the letter came, our hero finds that his brother (and the rest of the town) have been caught in a dance mania—a hysterical mass tarantism. With no one else around, the veteran befriends a spider—suspected as the one responsible for the tarantism—and  together they go up against the town doctor who believes that breakfast (and everything ordinary, for that matter) is beneath love.

The Party: After the play, DJ Gingko and DJ Ross of Love spin records on the big studio's dance floor while a table laden with a bounty of delicious vegan cupcakes (baked by pastry chef–cum–Forrest Yoga apprentice Jason Schoen) sit available for the eating in Studio 34's spacious community room!

The Yoga: 'Round midnight strobe lights give way to candles and the music mellows out for a 90-minute yoga class. Studio 34 provides the yoga mats and all the props for your practice—all you need is comfy clothes and the will to move.
